Chiruca - Calzados Fal S.A. is a famous espanian Gore-Tex shoes producer. In the wide offer hunter can choose something interesting: nubuck with membrane boots; light shoes for after-hunting; black boots made with black nappa leather and Gore-Tex lining inside; high rubber boots or even textill hunting wear with Ch+ membrane, Kevlar, CoolMax and different versions of Polartec fabrics: Wind Pro, WindBloc or PowerDry.


Nubuck leather boots with Gore-Tex Ultimate membrane are additionally protected by ScotchGard treatind with 3M technology. Semi-rigid insole. There are no problems with waterproofnes, but users od Chiruca complain about something another: the Urbasa rubber sole is dangerous on the ice - it's uncredibly slippery. Another problem is caused by using of nappa leather for the tongue of nubuck shoes. That solution is very noisly, during even slow walking tongues creak loudly all the time, so the wild animals run away in short time.

Chiruca produces also rubber boots named Horse and Wolf, both with a neoprene lining, rather for fishing than hunting.
The main change in the new season are the Vibram soil used for many models of Chiruca Hunting Boots. I heard from few Chiruca users the Urbasa soil was much better. It was not so hard and whole the boot had a larger width. I'm not sure, I didn't test it myself...
